HARRY POTTER series author JK Rowling has arrived in Kathmandu on Friday. She landed in Nepal on her private jet along with her family members.
Rowling attended a welcome program organized by The British School today itself where she also read an excerpt from the famous series.
Rowling and her family is in Nepal on the special invitation of the British embassy, Kathmandu. It is also been informed that she will be attending a program at Hyatt Regency Hotel on Saturday.
In 2004, Forbes magazine listed JK Rowling as the first person who became a billionaire just by writing books. Her Harry Potter series gained worldwide attention followed by over 400 million sales and a feature film.
