MARY KOM: Sunil Thapa not listed in ‘Film Fare Awards’

Nepali actor Sunil Thapa who had gained more popularity after getting featured in Bollywood cinema ‘Mary Kom’ could not be listed in the nomination for the best supporting actor at the Film Fare Awards.
Film Fare awards is one of the most reputed film awards in Bollywood. Sunil Thapa also know as ‘Raate Kaila‘ had appealed to vote for him to get nominated for the category ‘Best actor in a supporting role’. Unfortunately, his name was not listed whereas Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra will be receiving award from the same movie.
Abhishek Bachchan (Happy New Year), Kay Kay Menon (Haider), Riteish Deshmukh (Ek Villian), Ronit Roy (2 States) and Tahir Raj Bhasin (Mardaani) were listed in the top five nomination categories.
Film Fare awards will be held at 31st of January where Sunil Thapa will also attend the program. Thapa who is residing in Mumbai is currently working on a South Indian film.
