After the tragic incident that took place in Nepal, most filmmakers, artists and other media persons were involved in raising funds for the victims and helping one another rebuild Nepal.
After getting involved in raising funds abroad, the superstar Rajesh Hamal is now in the streets of Kathmandu to aware the people about the epidemic diseases. He can be seen with a broom sweeping the streets.

He posted a status on Facebook writing, ‘We get dependent on others for many things, but, cleanliness is our duty’.
The initiative was led by ‘Koshish Healthcare Foundation’ in Lagankhel. These days Hamal can been seen more into social works than playing in movies.
