Nepal Television will now be broadcasted in India by India. Indian government channel ‘Doordarshan’ will have to rights to broadcast it in India.
According to chairman of NTV Nir Shah, Nepal Television will be broadcasted through Doordarshan‘s DTH system for which the process has already started. He is currently in Delhi for the meeting between the two companies (NTV and Doordarshan). The decision was finalized by the meeting that was held in Delhi this week.
Previously, the broadcasting of Nepali medias were not allowed in India. The decision of broadcasting Nepali channel in India will benifit Nepali people living in India.
