Sapkota elected as President of Film Journalist Association Nepal

The Cinema Times, Kathmandu – 9 March, 2017,  Sandeep Sapkota has been elected as president of Film Journalist Association Nepal. In the election, Sapkota with 21 votes leads over another contender Laxman Subedi. Anil Yadav won the election for the General Secretary post leading with two votes opposite Bijaya Subedi (Awaaj). Similarly, Shyam Aryal garnered more votes defeating contender Ashesh Adhikari for Vice President (program). Likewise, Dinesh Sitaula was directly elected as a Vice

President (organization) without edging out other candidates. Geeta Adhikari won the woman vice president (women) post while Baikuntha Raj Parajuli won the Secretary post edging other candidates. Meanwhile towards Samavesi, Sameer Balami got directly elected in a Secretary post without edging out other candidates. Kuber Dangol got elected as a Treasurer whereas Jiwan Parajuli got won the post of Joint-Treasurer.

Similarly, Barsha Basnet, Utsav Rasaili, Suresh Dulal Chhetri ‘Babu’, Krishna Bhattarai, Bikash Lamichhane and Manish Karki got elected as member of Film Journalist Association of Nepal. Towards Samavesi, Bishal Rai, and Deep Jyoti Thapa got elected as the member without edging out other candidates. On the pedestal, Dabbu Chhetri, Rajan Ghimire, Shanti priya, Bidur Giri, Subrat Raj Acharya, Dhana Bahadur Khadka, Ashok Pyaasi Rai, Bishnu Prasad Subedi and Nimesh Gautam won the election with majority. On the female, Jayan Subba Manandhar, Swostika Chilwal and Rashmi Thapa ‘Laxmi’ won with majority
