Nepali cinema gets involved in Global Film Festival

Nepali cinema will be now participating at San Francisco Global Film Festival which will commence from August. The organizers at the press meet, FIA mentioned that along with Nepal, other 2 hundred and 50 films from 30 countries will be taking part at the festival that will last for 10 days starting from 7th August to 16th of August.  Famous Hollywood, Bollywood and Kollywood’s celebrities will also attend the festival.

From Nepal’s side, Pujana Pradhan’s ‘Chocolate‘, Richa Ghimire’s ‘Tulasi‘ and ‘Tata Bye-Bye‘ will be taking part at the festival. Whereas Nima Pakhrin’s ‘Mobile call‘ and Jas Kumar Rai’s ‘Sacrifice never dies‘ will take part as small screen cinemas.

Global Film Festival- thecinematimes.comAlong with Sunil Thapa from Nepal, Jackie Chan and Sharon Stone from Hollywood and Rani Mukharji, Bhidya Bhalan and Sonu Nigam from Bollywood and other 150 actors will attend and take part at the festival.

The film festival has Dr. Jhapra Romes as the chairman, Prakash Thapa as the Global director and Dr. Fasi Khurran as the international coordinator. The press conference was held in the presence of Bollywood star Gulshan Grover as the chief guest.
