Actress Rekha Thapa visited ‘Raksha Nepal‘ as a part of her movie ‘Tathastu‘ promotions. A short program was held at the organization where the trafficked/rape victims performed their talent.
The two rape victims will now be seen in Rekha Thapa’s upcoming new movie ‘Rampyari‘. She will start teaching them to act after two weeks. Rekha Thapa along with director Shabir Shrestha had reached at ‘Raksha Nepal’ and met with the 32 rape victims. She also donated some amount to the organization.
The children at the home were very happy to meet Rekha Thapa and shared their desire to become bold like her. Pooja Bohora, who also won gold medal at Korea, mentioned Rekha as her role model. Rekha Thapa visited the organization as a part of her promotion because her cinema ‘Tathastu’ has raised issues on rape victim and her struggle.
