Universal Studio’s FURIOUS 7 had a $147 million debut just at North America box office and approx. $245 million overseas. Therefore, it had a giant worldwide launch of $392.2 million as reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

The movie had a massive traffic on Easter. Since The Hunger Games in 2013, this series is the greatest launch for any domestic movie. The audiences came to theaters to see Paul Walker for the last time which undoubtedly contributed a lot to Furious 7.
The seventh sequel was scheduled to release on 11th of July, 2014 which was postponed after Paul died in a tragic car crash.
