One of the online portals of Nepal, Filmybazar.com celebrated their first anniversary organizing a ceremony where nine filmmakers were honoured. The program started after communication Minister Dr. Minendra Rijal lit up the lamp after which director Laxminath Sharma was awarded with ‘Life Time Achievement Awards‘.
The first actor Bhuwan Chand was also awarded with ‘The head of an artist‘ title. The organizers also awarded the youngest director Saugat Bista who recently broke the world records. Narendra Maharjan was awarded with the ‘Distribution Award‘. Similarly, ‘Movie Journalism‘ award was handed over to Prakash Subedi (Television) and Bidur Pandey (Newspaper) along with Suman Gaire who was conferred with ‘Film Journalism Encouragement‘ award.
The ‘New Talent Award‘ went to actress Shilpa Pokhrel, however, she was not present at the program. Even though the program looked a grand one, there were very few number of audiences present.
